Our Graduate Program
How does the WIS graduate program work?
The Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety (WIS) graduate program is a 2 year program.
Our program offers a mix of hands on experience and exposure opportunities across key areas of our business geared towards developing our future talent. With a blended learning approach, our focus is to ensure that each graduate is able to deliver value throughout the program while learning and growing. The ultimate end goal is the development of engaged, skilled and driven future leaders ready to take our business to new heights.
What will I get from being a part of the program?
The program provides graduates with the opportunity to engage, learn, develop and grow within their desired field of work. The privilege of being selected for the graduate program includes access to a wide network of support and development opportunities. Our graduates will have access to the following:
- On the job learning and formal training
- Networking and collaboration
- Mentoring
Whilst the majority of the graduate’s learning will occur on-the-job, formal learning will supplement professional development. Core skills training sessions will be delivered in-house to all graduates on a regular basis.
On commencement of the program, the graduate will have the opportunity to meet with key leaders of the business and their fellow graduates. Throughout the program, graduates have many opportunities to network both formally and informally.
Graduates will also participate in regular mentoring sessions with a senior leader in our business. Mentoring provides graduates with invaluable professional and personal development. Our graduates will have formal regular check points with their mentor throughout the 2 years to ensure their career goals are understood and harnessed.
